Dr. Adam Feltz was appointed to work on a collaborative five-year NSF grant alongside professors in the University of Oklahoma School of Chemical, Biological, and Materials Engineering. With the help of graduate student, Jenna Holt, their goal is to assess public knowledge on plastic recycling before introducing a new recycling program that attempts to send less plastic to landfills. This program will tackle the recycling of multi-layered plastics, which are currently non-recyclable in the state of Oklahoma.
